Adapter for standard RMS to Mitutoyo threading with step
Adapter allows mounting of RMS threaded objectives on nosepieces or receptables with 26 mm Mitutoyo threading Inner female thread will accommodate objectives with RMS threading. Outer male Mitutoyo (26 mm) style thread screws into 26 mm x 36 tpi threads on nosepieces etc. This adapter has not been manufactured to make a near clone of a Mitutoyo objective compatible with both DIN and Mitutoyo threading. It is quite a lot longer with a larger diameter area of about 6.44 mm (or just a bit over a ¼") length. But if your idea is to use a DIN objective on a scope with Mitutoyo threading then that will make it more mechanically solid since DIN objectives are a lot smaller in diameter, with most under 26 mm dia at the threads. Since DIN objectives come with 45 mm parfocal length versus 95 mm on the Mitutoyo the added length will be no disadvantage with most applications.
