Centerable nosepiece has 1 fixed and 3 adjustable positions.
50X objective was installed at the fixed position, the others occupy the remaining inserts. A probe tip was placed so that the sharp end was near the center. It can be seen that the stage would need some adjustment. For the 10X a little bit of the shaft is just barely visible in the lower lefthand corner, the sharp end is outside the image area. Image is somewhat better centered with the 5X and 20X objectives but in most cases stage adjustment would still be beneficial.

After playing for about 20 seconds with the centering keys on each of the three nosepiece positions the situation is much better. Additional effort and a suitable stage micrometer as background would result in perfect alignment between objectives.
